Mr. Boyer came to Horizon Specialty Hospital after a traumatic event while visiting family in Las Vegas. Upon assessment, Mr. Boyer relied on facility staff for all daily living tasks, transfers, and required assistance with communication.

The exception nursing and therapy team at Horizon Specialty Hospital worked together to devise a personalized treatment plan to address weakness, balance, transfers, and provide strategies for achieving independence.

We are delighted to share Mr. Boyer has discharged to an acute rehabilitation facility to continue his rehabilitation so he can return home to Delaware with his lovely wife.
